The client wanted a fun and joyful website, but with a very serious mission: to present a wealth of information that will help people of all ages to develop healthy eating and living habits. While introducing the Becel line of products as an integral part of a healthy diet.

What have we done

lunainimii.ro is a website with many stories to tell – it is in equal measure educational, informational and motivational. And of course, it has to do a great job in presenting the Becel products. Dealing with so many information we needed to structure the different types of data to be easily found by visitors; and build a productive CMS system to allow content editors to easily add / edit data on every section and level – including copy, images, videos, nutritional info and many more.

So we opted for our own Content Management System (CMS) system built on CodeIgniter. This allowed us to develop a very powerful, flexible and productive admin interface for creating complex data structures – without any performance penalty.

For the user interface we used a clear top level menu with submenus, for one click access to the main categories. Plus a contextual, in-page menu for navigating between items in the same category. Finally, everything was completed with a “Recently viewed” list, breadcrumbs and a powerful, site-wide search.
